The Church is Oddly Silent

The Catholic church in the Philippines has been actively and vigorously opposing the Reproductive Health Bill currently pending in congress. As we all now, they are against any form of contraception that doesn’t equate to abstinence.

Catholic Church: Untouchable and Non-Taxable

The “Most” (LOL) Reverend Oscar V. Cruz, D.D. seems to be getting his beloved Catholic church in a fix. In his blog, he contends that PAGCOR (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation) should be paying E-VAT (extended value added tax) to the BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) which, he says they don’t.

The Sacrifices of The Church

This is laughable.
In an effort to interfere in governmental duties. A group of seven priests held a hunger strike.
Said hunger lasted for ONE FULL DAY!!! Can you imagine that? These poor, poor priests did not eat a single thing for one full day. They can now proceed to topple the government.
