The Americans have a saying to describe a difficult situation: “Between a rock and a hard place.” In Santa Banana, the expression is: “Between the politicians and the priests.” When a Santa Bananan is confronted by a no-win situation, he throws up his hands and declares: “I’m caught between the politicians and the priests.”
