It’s really disgusting how the Catholic church in the Philippines has no qualms about interfering with the government. Today, they actually threaten the president. The sad part is, she’ll probably bow down to their will.

Roman Catholic bishops have a message for Charter change proponents with only selfish political ambitions. And their message is this: Do it, and you will pay.

Ooooooh… they’ll “pay.” Sadly… when the Philippine church threatens, they actually have the power to make the government pay. The brainwashed idiots all over the place are completely under their control.

“If that will happen, President Arroyo will have to contend with the Catholic Church and because many of her promises still remain unfulfilled,” Dela Cruz said in an interview over Church-run Radyo Veritas.

What do unfulfilled promises have to do with charter change? Oh, right… she made promises to the church and she didn’t follow through. That pisses them off. You will pay!!!

And if possible, Dela Cruz said, “she should not meddle in politics because her term is only until 2010.”

“She should instead use the rest of her time (in the presidency) by making good deeds from hereon until she finished her term,” he said.

Oh the hypocrisy!!! She has more of a right to meddle in politics than you do!!! She’s a politician!!! You are idiot deluded Jesus freaks! YOU are the one’s who shouldn’t be meddling in politics, dumbasses!

Bottom line, though. I agree with what their broadcast goal is, charter change should not happen before 2010. I’m a rational guy, I’ll side with them on this. Their means, though, how they push around their influence. That’s just fucked up.
